Hey Y’all! We’re Alex and Sarah!

Country Chick Crafting Co. began at Sarah’s kitchen table in 2023. What started as a few homemade gifts for friends and family quickly became something more — a shared passion for crafting products people could truly feel good about using and giving.

We were tired of meaningless, mass-produced gifts and wanted to create things that felt personal — things made with love, faith, and care. Our very first candles were poured into mason jars from the local craft store, each with its own scent and a tiny flower glued on top in a friend’s favorite color. When we saw how much joy those little creations brought, we knew we’d found something special.

From that moment, we began building Country Chick Crafting Co. together — selling our handmade soy candles and goat milk soaps at farmers markets and craft shows, where people were drawn to the warmth and simplicity of what we make. They appreciated that our products are natural, sustainable, and created with intention — and their encouragement fueled our desire to grow.

Our faith in Jesus Christ remains the heart of everything we do. We believe every candle poured and every bar of soap crafted is an opportunity to share light — to spread joy, peace, and hope in everyday life. Our work is one way we strive to love others well and honor God with the gifts He’s given us.

While candles and soaps are where our story began, they’re just the beginning. We’re continually dreaming, creating, and developing new products that reflect our values of quality, faith, and kindness — all designed to make homes feel a little warmer and hearts a little lighter.

Looking ahead, our dream is to open a retail shop on a small, self-sustaining farm, where we can sell our handmade goods and welcome others into a space that reflects our values — a place where faith, creativity, and community come together. We also hope to support other local makers by renting space to small businesses and fostering a spirit of encouragement and collaboration.
